Leigh Ann Brandeberry, AGACNP-BC, is an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at West Tennessee Bone & Joint Institute, which has several locations throughout Tennessee. She has over 23 years of clinical experience, working primarily in intensive care units and emergency room settings to help support patients and physicians at the Dyersburg, Tennessee, location.
Working alongside Jason Hutchinson, MD, and Doug Haltom, MD, she helps diagnose and treat patients who are challenged with chronic and acute orthopedic concerns. She routinely collects and reviews patient health histories, devises appropriate care plans, orders and interprets diagnostic imaging, provides various injections, and treats pre- and postoperative patients.
Leigh Ann began her nursing career by completing her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing at Dyersburg State Community College. She moved forward to the University of Tennessee, Martin, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her career advanced to the nurse practitioner level when completing a Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the West Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Alliance. She is credentialed in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support.
