Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Douglas Haltom, Jr., MD, specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopy, joint replacement, and joint reconstruction. He sees patients at the Jackson-Stonebridge and Dyersburg, Tennessee, locations of West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic, P.C. - two of 11 locations in the West Tennessee area.
Dr. Haltom earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed his residency training at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
Following his residency, Dr. Haltom participated in a sports medicine fellowship at Indiana University/Methodist Sports Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was also a J. Vernon Luck orthopedic research fellow at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri.
